Preparedness information for people with disabilities

Two people talkingAn emergency can happen anywhere and anytime.

That's why it's critical that everyone takes steps to protect themselves and make sure they can stay safe and healthy. If you're living with a disability, there are a few extra tips you should keep in mind to get prepared.

To help you get started, APHA's Get Ready campaign has created this series of fact sheets. Read, download or listen to them for basic tips on getting ready for emergencies.
